The 2019 Lok Sabha Elections are in full force with 4 out of the 7 phases completed. The citizens of India are coming out in huge numbers to cast their votes. If we look back at the last Lok Sabha elections in 2014. It was revolutionary, for the first time in the history of independent India a full majority Non-Congress government was formed. The entire nation was hit with the ‘Modi-Wave’. The Indian National Congress hit a new low as they managed to win 44 seats out of the total 545 i.e less the 10%. Which meant there was no opposition party in the Lok Sabha.
The last 5 years have been very eventful. Things like Goods and Services tax (G.S.T), Demonetization, Surgical Strikes created a spark across all of India. The Congress party have criticized a lot of the ruling party BJP’s decision. The main controversial topics that were focussed on were Rafale Deal Controversy, G.S.T, Demonetization, N.R.C, Nirav Modi Controversy, Centralization of the government. Recently the election commission of India banned the release of a movie based on the life of the current PM Narendra Modi stating any biopic which has the potential to disturb the level playing field during the elections should not be displayed in the electronic media. The Election commission also banned NaMo TV.

Who will win the 2019 Elections in India? Our Predictions-
Predicting the entire outcome of the elections is very difficult. As we discussed before the ruling party led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a lot of changes and to say the least not all of them were appreciated by the people. Despite the many allegations against the Modi-government, there is a fair share of Indian’s who sill believe in his policies and see him as the rightful candidate. 2014 General elections were trend-setting, we do not expect BJP to win with a heavy majority like the prior elections. But we do think that the government will be led once again by the BJP but not a complete majority one. Our predictions are that there will be a coalition government in the 17th. If our Predictions go right then Narendra Modi will be the PM for another 5 years. The contest will be very close and it will be with BJP and Congress. Local parties like Shivsena in Maharashtra, AIANDMK in Tamil Nadu are expected to win a large number of seats in their respective seats.
This was our predictions for the elections, what is yours?
