Afreen Afreen is a ghazal song, originally written by Javed Akhtar and composed by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. It was released in the mid-1990s as a non-film music video. And later remade by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan with Momina Mustehsan, during season 9 episode 2 of Pakistani musical TV show Coke Studio. The music was directed by Faakhir Mehmood. In November, it became the fastest Pakistani origin video to mark 215 million views on YouTube and become the most viewed Pakistani origin YouTube video.
Ek ladki ko dekha
“Ek ladki ko dekha toh aisa laga” is a song originally composed by R.D Burman which won several awards for its enthralling music and lyrics. The beautiful track was remade and recorded in 2018. The new version was composed by Rochak Kohli and was found equally appealing by the listeners and did justice to the original hit.
Dil kya kare
The track was originally sung by the legendary singer, Kishor Kumar, while the lyrics were written by Anand Bakshi. In 2017, A popular Indian bank “Sanam” remade this classic hit while arousing a sense of vigor and newness into the peppy track. The video has a stupefying record of 11 Million views on YouTube
Jiye Toh Jiye Kaise
Jiye To Jiye Kaise Lyrics of Saajan (1991) is penned by Sameer, composed by Nadeem and Shravan and sung by Kumar Sanu, Anuradha Paudwal and S P Balasubramaniam. In 2017, a Punjabi singer recreated a music video of the Bollywood song that gained immense popularity on the internet.
Ek Ajnabee Hasina Se
This song is a beautiful masterpiece, close to a lot of hearts, with it’s beguiling, poetic composition and intriguing music. Originally sung by Kishor Kumar and written by Anand Bakshi. The song was remade in 2016. It was actually a double mint advertisement that caught a lot of attention and turned into a sensational remake of the classic hit.
