After clinching the ODI series the next target for team India is to eye on the T20 Series against the same opponents, that’s New Zealand. The last time India played the Black Caps in Newzealand was back in 2009 where India lost to them for a 0-2 margin. The T20 Series starts from February 6 onwards. New Zealand has named 14-member squad to face India for the 3-match T20 series at home.
Kane Williamson will come back to the side and lead them as he missed the only T20 match against Sri Lanka.
Neesham has not been included in the squad. Daryl Mitchell and Blair Tickner the two uncapped players are selected in the squad with their stunning performance in the Super Smash T20 League.
India and New Zealand have faced each other nine times in T20 International where Kiwis have won 6 out of them, and the Men in Blues have won only twice with one match showing no result.
These three matches will be crucial for both the sides for next years T20 World Cup.
